Totally Doable Projects For Every Weekend Warrior
Most of the projects I worked on in my position at Build were targeted at high-end redesigns, home makeovers, and large-scale contractors. I wanted to create a campaign for a core audience that was often overlooked: weekend warriors looking to transform their spaces quickly with DIY projects.
Working with our partner brands, I developed a set of user-friendly, affordable “mini-makeovers” that were showcased on a dedicated blog and on Youtube. From porches to bathrooms, I led creative direction and strategy for 8 separate projects while simultaneously finding and sourcing sets, taking photos, and setting production schedules. Even though it was a side project for the company, the self-initiated project garnered a high rate of engagement with our intended audience and created a notable bump in revenue from affiliate sales.
