This year I was given the challenge of designing a camp pendant for our Burning Man camp, Good Question. I wanted to design something that not only showcased our camp name, but would also help us build community within our camp. The goal was something that would get people talking, create interaction, and foster community.

The pendant was designed in the shape of the heart chakra to promote authentic expression, help build relationships, and help each camp member bond with one another in a way that built deep and lasting connections.

The following letter was attached to each pendant when they were given out:

Your pendant has a Good Question on the back. No two pendants have the same question. Throughout the week as you get to know your campmates, you are encouraged to ask them your Good Question, and hopefully they ask you theirs in return! This is your opportunity to learn something fascinating about your campmates, and in the process, you may learn a lot about yourself as well. Remember: there are no wrong answers! Only Good Questions
